Virtual Statue of Liberty Flyby

by April 29, 2009 02:16

Here's what I did in a matter of minutes using Paint.NET, some stock images of the President's 747 flying over Mount Rushmore, and a picture of the Statue of Liberty.

  • No public panic was induced by the creation of this "Photo Opportunity"
  • No jet fuel was burned, thereby increasing our "Carbon Footprint"
  • No $328,835 in taxpayer money was spent.  The result was completely free.
Now, imagine what a talented grahpic artist with some better pictures could have done with a good hour of their time.  And it would probably still come in at under $100.
